Event Description
SAFADA CARNAVAL IS BACK — and for the first time ever, it’s taking over the Castro!

You’ve been waiting for it… and now it’s finally here. SAFADA CARNAVAL makes history as it lands in the heart of San Francisco’s iconic Castro District for the very first time.

For one extended night, Safada takes over The Café at 2369 Market Street in San Francisco, transforming the venue into a high-energy Carnaval experience inspired by the streets of Brazil. Expect nonstop movement, irresistible rhythms, and an immersive party where the music surrounds you and the crowd becomes part of the show.

This edition goes full Trio Elétrico style. Dance alongside Safada residents Kevin Karrera and Leandro Morais, joined by special guest P. Leal, as the DJ energy spills directly onto the dance floor and into the crowd.

Get ready for surprise performances, samba dancers, and an atmosphere bursting with color, heat, and pure joy. And because it’s Carnaval, a special Safadinha Room will be open for those who know.

Safada is a party built on love, connection, and celebration. There is zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, sexism, transphobia, ableism, aggression, or bad vibes of any kind.

Please treat each other and the staff with respect at all times. Violations may result in removal from the event.

Come ready to love, dance, and celebrate our LGBTQ+ community in one of the most iconic nightlife neighborhoods on the West Coast.

This is a more intimate Safada experience and it will sell out. Secure your tickets early and be part of this historic Carnaval night in the Castro.
